Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in McKinney, TX is seeking a seasoned Estimating & Pricing Principal Specialist to lead proposal activities for ISRS programs. You will coordinate pricing, cost volumes and technical input, interfacing with program leadership and finance to meet deadlines.

You will analyze data, develop should-cost insights, and help drive compliant submissions, audits, and negotiations while collaborating with engineering and program management teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's or Advanced Degree with applicable experience.
• Experience with Proposal Development and/or Cost Volume Management.
• Experience with industry estimating and pricing, policy and procedures.
• Experience with MS Office and pricing tools (ProPricer, ACES, Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication, engage with senior management.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule proposal efforts.
• Participate in proposal pricing activities and cost volume development.
• Compile cost, schedule and technical elements per RFP/FAR.
• Coordinate data from functional departments for proposals.
• Analyze BOMs and BOEs for reasonableness and backup data.
• Research historical data to support proposal efforts.
• Prepare internal management reviews up to Director level.
• Participate in cost reviews with management and customers.
• Support DCAA proposal audits and contract negotiations.
• Advise teammates to meet proposal objectives and monitor daily operations.
