Climate Pros is seeking an Estimating Director to lead the national estimating function across refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry. You will set standards, mentor the estimating team, and drive bid strategy and final estimates aligned with growth and profitability.

In this executive role, you will partner with senior leadership, project managers, customers, and subcontractors to define scope, assess risk, and capture value opportunities throughout the pursuit and turnover processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive estimating or preconstruction experience.
• 5+ years leading estimators and multi-trade teams.
• Proven ability to develop bid strategies and manage risk.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents.
• Established customer, subcontractor, supplier relationships; ethical negotiations.

Aufgaben

• Direct the national estimating function and translate growth, margin, and risk objectives into priorities.
• Lead, coach, and develop trade-specific estimators; plan staffing and workload.
• Standardize estimating processes, cost databases, templates, and technology.
• Oversee the estimating lifecycle from opportunity review to project turnover.
• Lead kickoff, milestone, and final reviews; verify scope, assumptions, and risk.
• Present bid strategy, pricing, risk, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Partner with customers and PMs to define scope and value-engineer options.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers; manage pricing and delivery.
• Record pursuits and forecast awards in Fieldgetics; monitor estimating capacity.
• Lead post-bid and post-project reviews; incorporate lessons learned.
