Jobot is seeking an experienced estate planning attorney in Reston, VA to draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives, while advising clients on wealth preservation strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, state bar admission, and at least five years in estate planning, probate, and tax law, with strong analytical and communication skills. This is a full-time on-site opportunity offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in the state.
• Minimum 5 years of estate planning, trust, probate, and tax law experience.
• Experience drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret tax laws, rulings, and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
• Draft, review, and revise various estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
• Provide sound legal advice to clients on estate planning, wealth preservation, and asset protection strategies.
• Represent clients in probate court proceedings and handle all aspects of probate administration.
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans.
• Conduct thorough research on complex legal issues related to estate planning and wealth preservation.
