Job summary

The Weitz Company, LLC in Phoenix, AZ seeks a seasoned warehouse operations leader to oversee financials, budgeting, and equipment maintenance, ensuring timely delivery to project sites and cost efficiency.

You will mentor staff, manage vendors, pursue expansion opportunities, and lead safety programs in compliance with DOT regulations; forklift certification and OSHA 30 are preferred or obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction-related experience including management of QA processes

Responsibilities

• Maintain financials and reporting and prepare annual budget
• Maintain an organized and well-maintained warehouse and equipment operation
• Collaborate with warehouse and project teams prior to purchasing, leasing or renting equipment
• Track equipment and tool usage for maintenance and replacements
• Source and solidify reputable vendors
• Pursue opportunities to expand warehouse operations
• Support safety programs including implementation and ensuring safe equipment
• Comply with DOT regulations
• Ensure timely delivery of equipment to project sites
• Maintain current asset inventory
• Operate small equipment to load/unload trucks
• Ensure invoices are accurate and correctly coded
• Stay updated on new materials and technologies
• Manage staff including mentoring, development goals, delegation, recruitment
