Job summary

Qualifications

• Manufacturing-focused procurement experience for line equipment, automation, tooling, or capital assets.
• Spare parts identification, stocking strategies, lead-time risk mitigation, lifecycle support.
• Ability to organize and evaluate data to support timely sourcing actions.
• Ability to interpret equipment drawings, BOMs, and specs for purchasing actions.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Finance, Quality, and Sourcing.
• Delivery performance, equipment readiness, and spares availability focus.
• Ability to assess supply risk and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
• Consistent execution across requisition-to-PO cycle time and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, buy, and manage direct materials and spares for manufacturing equipment and tests to ensure continuity of operations.
• Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to define technical specs and documentation for spares.
• Own spare parts strategy including criticality, stocking levels, and lifecycle planning.
• Support ECOs, deviations, and qualification builds by assessing procurement impacts.
• Execute sourcing events (RFI/RFQ/RFP) evaluating total cost of ownership and long-term support.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, incoterms, warranties, and service agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and mitigate supply risks affecting uptime.
• Convert requisitions to POs and manage expediting, changes, and deliveries.
• Coordinate logistics and site-readiness activities for equipment deployments.
• Track procurement against project schedules and provide status and risks.
• Manage end-of-life and obsolescence with Engineering for alternate parts.
• Support RCE processes with technical, financial, and contractual documentation.
