Job summary

Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield seeks an Enterprise Technology Architect Senior to guide enterprise architecture strategies, standards, roadmaps, and governance across domains such as security, infrastructure, and applications.

You will evaluate emerging technologies, drive innovation, reduce technical debt, and align technology with business objectives while leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field; in lieu of degree, 5 years of related experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with business and technology leaders to align technology investments with organizational goals.
• Defines and delivers effective technology solutions through cross-functional collaboration.
• Communicates architectural strategies and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Creates and maintains reference architectures, patterns, and guidelines across domains.
• Designs and maintains enterprise security architectures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Develops and communicates architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Maintains enterprise technology standards, policies, and best practices for scalability and reliability.
• Promotes innovation, reduces technical debt, and drives continuous improvement.
• Establishes governance processes and architecture boards.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and dictates adoption strategies with business value.
• Identifies and mitigates architectural risks related to security and compliance.
• Leads proof-of-concept efforts and technology assessments for strategic decisions.
• Performs capacity planning and supports business continuity initiatives.
