Job summary

South Jersey Industries seeks an IT Portfolio Manager to lead the enterprise IT portfolio, ensuring investments align with business strategy and regulatory needs. You will drive governance, demand management, and roadmap prioritization across technology initiatives.

This role partners with business, finance, and tech leaders to develop budgets, business cases, and value measures, delivering dashboards and executive reporting for portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years IT portfolio or related experience, or Master’s with 8 years.
• 7+ years in IT portfolio management, program or PMO leadership.
• Experience in portfolio reporting, dashboards, and KPIs.
• PMI certifications: PMP, PfMP or PgMP.
• ITIL Foundation or higher; CSPO or equivalent Agile cert.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow SPM, Power BI, and Workday.

Responsibilities

• Manages the enterprise IT portfolio to align with strategy and regulatory needs.
• Leads planning, investment prioritization, and roadmap development.
• Evaluates initiatives and advises on portfolio adjustments.
• Manages demand intake, governance forums, and executive materials.
• Partners with finance and technology leaders on budgets and business cases.
• Develops dashboards and reporting for portfolio health and value realization.
