Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking an Senior Architect for US Employer Enterprise Architecture. You will shape architecture across business and technology domains, align domain initiatives to target states, and develop value-based roadmaps balancing near-term delivery with long‑term simplification and resilience.

You will influence stakeholders and drive architecture decisions with high autonomy. You will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Technology, Product, Operations and Data teams to shape

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a software engineering, infrastructure, or architecture environment.
• Demonstrated enterprise architecture experience delivering target-state architectures, capability maps, standards/patterns, and multi-year roadmaps

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic IT direction and capability development across domains.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Business, Technology, Product, Data and Operations to enable timely decisions.
• Execute from intent and drive delivery with minimal supervision.
• Develop target-state architectures, roadmaps, and reference patterns across horizons.
• Optimize assets, extend shared capabilities, and pursue disruptive capabilities when valuable.
• Define reusable patterns and integration approaches across domain boundaries.
• Communicate architecture direction to executives with clear, decision-focused narratives.
• Mentor architects and engineers to raise architecture maturity across teams.
