Cardinal Health seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to align architecture with business strategy and drive measurable value across GMPD Technology. The role combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to define architecture strategies that accelerate speed to market and optimize total cost of ownership.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams spanning business, data, application, and security domains, and will contribute to cloud strategy, data governance, and program roadmaps

Qualifications

• Translate business drivers into enterprise architecture requirements and align technology strategy with business goals
• Design architectures across business, data, application, and technology domains for agility and low TCO
• Develop IT strategies, roadmaps, reference architectures, and governance standards
• Lead cross‑functional solution delivery with business, data, integration, infrastructure, and security teams
• Monitor emerging technologies and provide thought leadership on adoption and ROI analysis

Responsibilities

• Strategic Alignment: Translate business drivers into enterprise architecture requirements; align technology strategy with business goals and financial planning.
• Architecture Leadership: Design next-generation architectures across business, application, data, and technology domains to enable agility, low TCO, and speed to market.
• Roadmaps & Standards: Develop IT strategies, architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, and enforce standards, patterns, and governance.
• Solution Delivery: Build extensible solution architectures; ensure adherence during implementation; lead collaboration across teams.
• Innovation & Research: Monitor emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches; provide thought leadership on adoption.
• Risk & ROI Analysis: Evaluate solutions considering risk, ROI, schedule, and budget; communicate and influence toward future‑state architectures.
