Job summary

Bank of America in the United States seeks a Senior Architect within GOTSSCDP to shape strategic architecture direction for large multi-generational programs spanning one or more business domains.

You will define the target operating environment, design for client resiliency, and drive non-functional requirements while collaborating with stakeholders and service providers involved in the business' strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in developing technology solutions, of which 5+ years in Architecture.
• Academic education in Technology/Engineering disciplines, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in defining solutions to solve large scale, complex business problems with high resiliency, scalability, performance, and concurrency requirements.
• Proficient in researching and understanding new technology solutions and present essential comparisons, pros/cons, and target use cases.
• Adept at IT operations, Agile Methodology, Software Development Lifecycle, and Systems Architectures.
• Proficient in collaborating with business and technical resources to understand and develop solutions that meet business requirements, translating strategy and objectives when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Defines architectural vision and backlog to enable the technology roadmap and functionality.
• Leads architecture roadmap creation across domains (Business, Application, Data, Technology).
• Clarifies architecture, assists with system design, and provides solution options.
• Facilitates solution discussions and designs complex architectures with flexibility and modularity.
• Educates team members on technology practices and standardization strategies.
• Supports technology stack selection and conducts design/code reviews for non-functional requirements.
• Creates and maintains target architecture blueprints and strategic roadmaps.
• Analyzes new technology for fit and works on multiple projects with waterfall and agile methods.
