Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Enterprise Architect to partner with technology teams across the enterprise, driving adherence to architecture standards, governance processes, and controls within assigned domains.

The successful candidate will ensure that technology strategies, capability models, and blueprints are developed, maintained, and delivered in a timely manner, aligned with roadmaps and strategic direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience spanning software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and technology strategy.
• Experience with APIs, event-driven architectures, secure-by-design principles, cloud computing, AI technologies, and modern development methodologies.
• Proven experience governing enterprise architecture standards and aligning business strategy with technology governance processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior architects and communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain domain architecture strategies, blueprints and roadmaps showing evolution from current to target state.
• Participate in architecture consulting to enable design decisions and lead design sessions.
• Act as a control function to ensure designs adhere to blueprints and enterprise standards.
• Support compliance of designs with relevant local laws and regulations.
• Identify risks, resolve issues and conflicting priorities; influence positive outcomes.
• Support vendor selection activities and build-versus-buy recommendations.
• Support development of prototypes and proofs-of-concepts to validate designs.
• Contribute to architectural patterns, principles and guidelines.
• Support execution of the architecture governance board.
• Provide inputs to annual financial planning and related activities.
