Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an enterprise architect to own and drive our technology strategy, standards, and roadmap for our global architecture, engineering, and construction firm. This role serves as the critical bridge between business strategy and IT execution, guiding a portfolio of technology initiatives and a transformative Blue Horizon program.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of enterprise architecture experience with integration and multiple platforms.
• Associates degree with 16 years of experience in enterprise architecture.
• High School Diploma with 18 years of enterprise architecture experience.
• Three years in a senior architecture or chief architecture role preferred.
• Strong data, cloud, and middleware expertise.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business goals into enterprise technology roadmaps.
• Establish and publish architecture standards across applications, data, security and infrastructure.
• Provide architectural direction for major projects via EXO and portfolio management.
• Mentor technology professionals performing architect roles.
• Consolidate platforms and reduce technical debt.
• Produce architecture artifacts and collaborate with engineering through implementation.
• Coach engineers on architecture patterns and decision making.
