Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture leader to align business strategy with technology direction across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, and security.

You will guide target-state direction, establish standards, and drive roadmaps with cross-functional teams. This role requires residency in NE, IA, KS, MO, or TX and on-site presence for the offer/first day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 10+ years of technology experience including enterprise architecture and cross-functional leadership.
• 7+ years architecture experience influencing complex enterprise solutions.
• Experience building and maturing enterprise architecture practices, standards, governance, and roadmaps.
• Broad knowledge across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, security, DevOps, and emerging tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the enterprise architecture strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Collaborate with CIO, General Managers, and leaders to translate strategy into technology direction.
• Govern architecture standards, guardrails, and decision practices across delivery teams.
• Facilitate architecture reviews and cross-domain forums addressing security, data, and lifecycle considerations.
• Provide functional architecture leadership across solution architects within Technology Solutions and Technology Operations.
• Align roadmaps with business capabilities and resolve cross-domain architectural questions.
• Identify and prioritize enterprise transformation opportunities including cloud evolution and modernization.
