Strategic Enterprise Account Executive (Remote, Northeast)

Role Overview

As a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive at Dynatrace, you will work with the largest companies in the world to shape and lead Dynatrace’s Go To Market in the Fortune 100. Your responsibilities include managing 3 existing customer accounts and 1 prospective account, identifying entry points to introduce Dynatrace, and leveraging your knowledge and success in the technology space, especially at the executive level with an APM-centric approach. This role offers an opportunity to engage in platform sales within the end-to-end observability and security space, utilizing hyperscalers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute account plans to maximize revenue within a portfolio of 4 Enterprise named accounts, including existing and prospective clients.
  2. Proactively manage and grow assigned strategic enterprise clients.
  3. Support a 1:1 ratio of designated SE support within the region.
  4. Understand and communicate how Dynatrace solutions address executive-level challenges.
  5. Maintain accurate forecasts and report on opportunities using the MEDDPIC framework.
  6. Engage with VP and C-level executives to develop strategies that maximize value and position Dynatrace competitively.
  7. Increase market presence through product demonstrations, events, and initiatives.
  8. Develop and maintain a contact network within accounts and channel partners.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  10. Ensure successful implementation of solutions for customers.
Location Preference

Northeast or NYC area.

Minimum Requirements
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • At least 5 years of experience in closing enterprise software sales.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Successful track record in enterprise software sales at the executive level.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and closing six-figure deals.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build a diverse territory plan and leverage sales ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to acquire new business.
  • Ability to thrive in high-velocity environments with a sense of urgency.
  • Motivated, tenacious, and capable of building VP- and C-level relationships.
  • Experience with the observability and modern application markets.
Benefits and Compensation

The base salary range is $150,000 - $180,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and location. Total compensation includes unlimited personal time off, stock purchase plans, medical/dental benefits, and a 401(k) plan. Additional perks include career development programs, relocation support, and an international team environment.
