Job summary

Sunoco LP in Dallas, TX seeks an Analyst to provide analytical and accounting tracking, and reconciliation for trading and scheduling areas, acting as liaison for the commercial department, reporting on secondary costs, assisting with scheduling, and ensuring EPA compliance, by performing the following duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, accounting, marketing, business or related area.
• 0-8 years of related experience; associate/analyst/senior levels defined by years and duties.
• Experience with petroleum product supply, distribution, pricing and trading is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains exchange and storage accounts, monitors balances and reconciles with accounting.
• Updates spreadsheets on product movements and coordinates with accounting.
• Maintains pricing reports and updates contract pricing at month-end.
• Monitors forward pricing to identify risk and trading strategies.
• Prepares inventory and supply/demand position reporting and related information.
• Researches data sources and applies data to positions.
• Supports contract terms and pricing negotiations to maximize revenues/EBITDA.
• Prepares annual revenue budget and forecasts; monthly activity reports.
• Gathers internal data in usable forms and performs data analysis.
• Coordinates with operations, engineering, environmental, legal and accounting on new services.
