Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking an Analyst-level professional to provide analytical and accounting tracking for trading and scheduling areas. The role supports the commercial department, reports on secondary costs, assists with scheduling, and ensures EPA compliance.

Responsibilities include reconciling exchange accounts, updating pricing and volume data, and preparing revenue forecasts and budgets. Collaboration with Operations, Legal, and Finance is essential for new services and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Business or related area required.
• 0-8 years of related experience; level determined by experience (Associate Analyst 0-2, Analyst 2-5, Senior Analyst 5-8).
• Strong knowledge of petroleum product supply and distribution concepts preferred.
• Experience with terminal operations, pipelines, and trading terminology desired.
• High proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintains exchange and storage accounts; reconcile balances and monitor monthly activity.
• Updates spreadsheets on product movements and coordinates with Accounting for accuracy.
• Maintains pricing reports and updates contract pricing at month-end.
• Updates and monitors forward pricing to identify risks and trading strategies.
• Prepares accurate inventory and supply/demand position reporting and related information.
• Conducts external data research; verifies data sources and applies data to positions.
• Supports and negotiates contract terms and pricing to maximize revenues and asset utilization.
• Prepares annual revenue budget and weekly/monthly revenue forecasts for the assigned area.
• Gathers internal data in usable forms for analysis.
• Performs extensive data manipulation and analysis.
• Coordinates with Operations, Engineering, Environmental, Legal and Accounting for new services planning.
