Job summary

Google is seeking a Program Manager in Energy External Affairs to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects spanning offices, time zones, and hemispheres. You’ll coordinate stakeholders, plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and ensure progress and deadlines across global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program or project management.
Experience in program management and strategy development within an organization.
Experience working in the energy industry, navigating external affairs, messaging strategy, and event strategy.
Experience managing cross-functional projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

Influence the external energy ecosystem to enable Google to secure energy capacity and deliver sustainable growth.
Regionalize Google’s global energy external affairs strategy in priority markets to address critical regional energy priorities.
Shape and advance the company’s external narratives on key issues, including energy affordability, grid reliability and carbon‑free energy.
Develop robust stakeholder engagement strategies, raise awareness of Google’s approach and drive major external activations such as industry announcements.
Act as a collaborative leader, working with a broad set of cross‑functional teams and external partners to bring complex projects from concept to completion.
