Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary energy analytics projects for the Americas data center team. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across Google.

The role involves financial analytics and modeling for energy agreements, negotiations support, and presenting materials for approvals, collaborating with Accounting and Finance teams, and driving automation to reduce manual work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in technical program management, financial analytics, commercial structuring, or corporate strategy.
• Experience developing investigative frameworks, maintaining financial benchmarks, and presenting agreement materials to cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Accounting, Finance).

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial structuring analytics program, helping to build energy strategy. Structure and evaluate energy agreements in support of the Americas data center portfolio.
• Be responsible for assisting in the evaluation of transactions across partnerships, portfolio frameworks, utility energy supply, IPP energy supply, PPAs, and other types of energy agreements.
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date benchmarks for industry standard financial metrics, project capex/opex benchmarks, etc.
• Play a role in transactions, helping to shape deal teams' approach to negotiations and structured solutions.
• Prepare and present agreement approval materials and work with cross-functional partners in Accounting, Finance, etc to align on a common set of agreement analytics and metrics. Help develop a standard set of modeling tools and focus on automation over repetitive, manual work.
