Based in Washington, you will represent employers in sophisticated workplace disputes and manage litigation through multiple stages, collaborating with clients and colleagues to develop practical, strategic solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years defending employers, excellent writing and analytical skills, and active Washington Bar membership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation experience defending employers.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Active Washington Bar membership.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation through multiple stages.
• Defend employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour matters.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and motions.
• Prepare responses and position statements for agency proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and develop clear, persuasive advocacy.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Work strategically with colleagues and clients to evaluate risk and develop practical solutions.
