Job summary

The San Diego Workforce Partnership is seeking a Business & Community Relations Specialist to bridge the organization with employers and community groups, coordinating outreach and enrollment in WIOA programs.

Reporting to the Business & Community Relations Supervisor, you will build partnerships, provide information on eligibility, manage CRM contacts, and help expand job placements while aligning with performance goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business development, business administration or related field.
• Master’s degree in business development or related field is preferred.
• Experience with underserved populations and outreach is described in the posting.
• Strong communication and data-driven decision making are implied requirements.

Responsibilities

• Bridge SDWP with community organizations and local businesses to expand program reach.
• Develop strategic relationships and execute targeted outreach to enhance participation.
• Coordinate employer orientations and manage job placement technologies.
• Utilize CRM to track contacts, progress, and KPIs for strategic decisions.
• Prepare timely reports and ensure alignment with grant requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business development, business administration or related field
