Job summary

The Missouri National Guard is seeking an experienced Emergency Management professional for the DOMS Protection Branch in Jefferson City. This role focuses on planning and mitigating hazards to protect facilities, personnel and their families across Missouri.

You will lead the development of an EM program, coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies, and organize EMWG/PWG activities while ensuring community awareness integrates into emergency planning and training.

Qualifications

  • Four to seven years of Emergency Management experience.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and assessing protection of emergency plans.
  • Bachelor's degree or ten years security program experience substitution; SECRET clearance after hire.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, synchronize, integrate, and sustain an EM program for the Missouri National Guard and facilities.
  • Develop and maintain a state hazard response plan; coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Organize command/staff relationships; establish EMWG and participate in PWG.
  • Ensure emergency community awareness is integrated into planning, preparation, and training.
  • Provide SME to MONG Commanders and EMWG/PWG members.
  • Ensure EM training for teams across the state is conducted.
  • Conduct assessments of EM programs for subordinate installations and sites.
