Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing activities for electronics across North America and internationally. You will develop commodity strategies, manage supplier relationships, and perform market research to identify risks and opportunities.

The role requires strong financial acumen, leadership, and an engineering or supply chain background. Travel up to 25% and a focus on defense, security, and manufacturing programs are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s, in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead identification, evaluation, selection, negotiation, and award of first-time contracts for new suppliers.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support win-bid processes by vetting and onboarding critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand the supply base and categories.
• Perform market research and analyze trends for electronics categories.
