Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and beyond. You will drive category strategies, evaluate suppliers, and manage spend while collaborating with internal stakeholders and international affiliates.

Ideal candidates have a strong electronics background, years of sourcing experience, and leadership skills. Travel up to 25% and a commitment to diversity are expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years with BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s in Sourcing or Supply Chain.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and award for new suppliers.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support win business by onboarding critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand supply base and categories.
• Perform market research and analyze electronics trends.
• Lead supplier evaluations and spend analysis for cost reductions.
• Collaborate with international Saab affiliates for future needs.
