Job summary

Top Prospect Group in Seymour, CT is seeking an experienced Buyer to support purchasing and supply chain in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This direct-hire role offers a $60,000–$80,000 salary with benefits, and relocation assistance is available.

You will work closely with Program Management, Production, and vendors to ensure material availability, manage POs, and drive cost savings while maintaining target inventory levels. Strong MRP/ERP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems in manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of purchasing/supply chain experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing to support production and program management.
• Monitor open POs and confirm vendor delivery dates.
• Expedite shortages and maintain PO accuracy.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and negotiate discounts.
• Collaborate across Purchasing, Stockroom, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and support annual turns.
