Virtex is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer - Electronics in New Jersey to develop and execute procurement strategies for electronic components used in EMS. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply chain optimization.

The role requires 5+ years of strategic procurement in electronics, proficiency with MRP/EDI/BOMs, and strong Excel skills.

Formación

• BS/BA in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of strategic procurement experience in electronics.
• Familiar with MRP, EDI, BOMs and blueprints.
• Strong MS Excel and advanced MS Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic sourcing to secure best terms for components.
• Manage supplier relationships for quality, cost, on-time delivery.
• Analyze market trends to drive cost savings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PM, engineering, and operations.
• Proactively assess supply chain risks and mitigation.
• Support JIT by reducing raw material inventory via supplier agreements.
• Maintain ISO records for purchasing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
