Job summary

Pentair plc in Golden Valley, MN seeks a Commodity Manager, Electrical & Electronics to lead supplier strategy and sourcing for PCBAs, semiconductors and related assemblies. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Planning and Product Management to ensure reliable supply and support new product development.

Travel up to 45% domestically with possible international travel; 5+ years strategic sourcing experience and ERP systems like SAP, QAD or JDE are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience with domestic and international suppliers; 7+ years preferred.
• 3+ years of electrical and electronics sourcing experience; PCBAs, semiconductors, or related components preferred.
• Proven success leading RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations and contracts; sourcing implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic supplier relationships through performance reviews and risk mitigation.
• Lead RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, and implementation.
• Develop category strategies to drive savings, supply continuity, and value engineering.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites to resolve supplier issues and support production.
• Support new product development through supplier evaluation and sourcing.
