Job summary

Stratasys in Eden Prairie, MN seeks a Commodity Manager - Electrical to lead global sourcing for PCBAs, connectors, cables, power supplies, and other components. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to secure cost-competitive, reliable sources and support new product development and production.

The role owns supplier performance, contracts, and risk management, including spend analysis, supplier capacity, and long-term agreements, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commodity management (electrical/electronic components).
• 5 years negotiating supplier contracts and long-term agreements.
• Experience with cost-modeling and data-analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year sourcing strategies for electrical commodities to optimize TCO, supply, quality, and innovation.
• Lead RFx events; perform should-cost and benchmarking analyses; drive competitive bidding.
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers, supplier capacity, and roadmaps to anticipate risks and opportunities.
• Own end-to-end supplier relationships including scorecards, reviews, and continuous improvement.
