Job summary

Clarios seeks an experienced EHS leader to oversee Environmental, Health and Safety operations at the St Joseph Distribution Center. You will partner with plant management and regional EHS leadership to implement global, regional, and plant standards, serving as the subject-matter expert for EHS on the plant floor.

This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, including incident investigations, PPE management, and ISO-aligned systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Industrial Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Environmental, Health & Safety leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO14001 and 45000 standards.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive communication skills.
• Travel may occasionally be necessary (approximately 1 -2 times per year)

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHS operations at St Joseph DC and align with global, regional, and plant standards.
• Partner with Plant Leadership and regional EHS teams to implement site-specific strategies.
• Lead EHS programs including PPE management and ISO-compliant systems with Quality.
• Manage incident investigations, workers' compensation reviews, and EHS training.
• Track EHS metrics and drive root-cause analysis and improvements.
