Job summary

Glanbia is seeking an EHS Manager to provide strategic leadership for environmental, health, and safety programs across our Twin Falls Cheese Plant, Blackfoot Cheese Plant, Central Lab, and related facilities in Idaho.

You will oversee regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous safety improvements for ~300 employees, with travel to sites as needed. Strong OSHA knowledge and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science/Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing; multi-site and/or food processing preferred.
• Proven ability to influence at multiple levels and lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable risk reduction.
• Proficient in OSHA general industry standards and programs (LOTO, CSE, PIT, machine guarding, hazard communication, respiratory protection).
• Strong writing and presentation skills for reports and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory SME and POC for EHS programs at multiple plants in the region.
• Lead Plant Pillars and drive continuous improvement in safety culture.
• Disseminate new safety and environmental regulations to plant managers and staff.
• Develop and implement uniform safety and environmental documentation and training programs.
• Develop and maintain industrial hygiene programs (exposure assessments, ventilation controls, PPE, fit testing, surveillance).
• Provide strategic guidance to ensure OSHA compliance and audit plant logs.
• Oversee incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Manage environmental reporting (Tier II, RCRA, EPCRA, CAA, NPDES, etc.).
• Ensure waste handling and disposal meet regulations and tracking requirements.
