Glanbia Twin Falls (Idaho) seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple sites. You will ensure regulatory compliance, drive risk reduction, and champion safety culture.

This role oversees industrial hygiene, documentation, training, and data reporting while aligning safety with corporate objectives. You will collaborate with senior leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and support plant pillars with continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science/Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing; multi-site and/or food processing preferred.
• Demonstrated success influencing at multiple levels and leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable risk reduction.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Leadership to others through example and knowledge sharing.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage several projects concurrently.
• Proficient in OSHA general industry standards and programs (e.g., LOTO, PIT, machine guarding, haz. comm., respiratory protection).
• Experience with EPA programs (CAA, CWA/NPDES, RCRA, EPCRA/SARA, SPCC/SWPPP) and state/local requirements.
• Experience with industrial hygiene sampling/controls and incident investigations.
• Familiarity with PSM/RMP for ammonia refrigeration and contractor safety management (preferred).
• Strong EHS data systems, metrics, and reporting; advanced Excel/analytics skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory subject matter expert and contact for EHS programs for multiple plants and labs.
• Active participation and ownership of Plant Pillars with continuous improvement focus.
• Disseminate new safety and environmental regulations to plant managers and staff.
• Develop and implement uniform safety and environmental documentation and training programs.
• Develop and maintain industrial hygiene programs (exposure assessments, ventilation controls, PPE, fit testing, surveillance).
• Provide strategic guidance to ensure OSHA compliance; oversee OSHA plant logs audits.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for incidents.
• Manage environmental reporting including Tier II, Form R, stormwater, etc.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, permits (CAA, NPDES, Local ordinances).
• Ensure safety laws and policies are followed (OSHA, etc.).
• Oversee compliance projects at GN Dairy sites as directed by Senior EHS Manager.
• Develop environmental reports required by permits (SARA, CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA, Local ordinances).
• Ensure waste handling and disposal meets regulations; track activities.
