Job summary

Save the Children US is seeking an Advisor, Economic Evaluation to strengthen cost modeling and budgeting for proposals and new business development. You will work with technical advisors, country offices, finance, and MERL to link costs to outcomes and improve efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (master's preferred), 5+ years in international development cost analysis, strong quantitative skills, and ability to travel up to 20% internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in relevant work.
• Experience developing, reviewing, and analyzing program budgets and cost models.
• Familiarity with the 4Es framework: economy, efficiency, effectiveness, equity.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and support retrospective economic evaluations of programs.
• Develop program cost models to support proposal design and budgeting.
• Synthesize cost and economic evidence for internal and external audiences.
• Train colleagues on economic evaluation principles and methods.
• Travel up to 20% internationally as needed.
