Job summary
Save the Children US is seeking an Advisor, Economic Evaluation to strengthen cost modeling and benchmarking for proposals and new business development. You will develop activity-based budgets, compare with external benchmarks, and help design competitive, evidence-based budgets to deliver results for children.
The role also involves cost-efficiency analysis, data synthesis, and collaboration with country offices, finance, and awards teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience developing, reviewing, and analyzing program budgets and cost modeling for proposals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of program cost models for proposals and budgeting.
- Analyze cost drivers and translate findings into practical guidance for proposal design and budgets.
- Build internal cost benchmarks from historical data and external sources.
- Provide training on cost modeling tools to staff across teams.
- Support proposal design by embedding cost-efficiency considerations.
