Job summary

H Mart is seeking a sourcing manager to identify and bring in new products and suppliers, while negotiating terms to ensure cost efficiency and quality. You will manage relationships with existing vendors and monitor performance to sustain competitive offerings.

The role includes forecasting demand, planning replenishment, and coordinating with logistics and marketing to align sourcing with market needs. Strong communication and e-commerce experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (not required).
• Understanding of e-commerce sourcing and vendor management.
• At least 4-5 years of relevant sourcing/purchasing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Vendor negotiation experience preferred.
• Experience with E-commerce Platforms preferred.
• Interest in e-commerce and retail trends.
• Knowledge of inventory management and demand planning.
• Communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source new products or suppliers to expand product offerings and improve competitiveness.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and evaluate their performance regularly.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the operations team to ensure adequate stock levels to fulfill customer orders.
• Forecast demand and plan inventory replenishment strategies to avoid stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
• Optimize inventory turnover and storage costs while maintaining product freshness and quality.
• Ensure accuracy in order quantities, pricing, and delivery schedules while adhering to budget constraints.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to facilitate timely delivery and shipment tracking.
• Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align sourcing strategies with market demands and promotional activities.
