Job summary

Rutgers University is seeking a Program Manager for Dual Enrollment & Pre-College Pathways to provide leadership and strategic direction for Newark's dual enrollment initiatives. The role drives partnerships, program design, and evaluation to expand college access and improve student outcomes.

The incumbent will coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee budgeting and reporting, and serve as the primary liaison with schools, university leadership, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related fields required.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Knowledge of Newark communities highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent leadership and strategic direction for dual enrollment programs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across university units and partners.
• Oversee program design, development, and evaluation to expand access.
• Develop and enforce program protocols, policies, and services.
• Organize planning, budgeting, communications, events, and reporting.
• Coordinate year-round programming including workshops and staff recruitment.
• Serve as liaison with schools, Rutgers–Newark faculty, and external partners.
• Manage evaluations, assess service levels, and report submissions.
