Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Columbus, OH is seeking a Driver Recruiter to source, screen, and hire CDL and non-CDL drivers and driver trainees for multiple locations. You will build driver pipelines, coordinate interviews with operations leaders, and ensure timely pre-employment screening while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

3+ years recruiting/sourcing experience preferred.
Experience recruiting CDL drivers or transportation personnel.
Ability to travel up to 30% to various locations.
Associates degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, community events.
Screen candidates via phone interviews and verify CDL requirements.
Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications throughout the process.
Ensure ATS records are accurate and compliant.
Collaborate with operations leadership to understand staffing needs and reduce vacancies.
