Valley Youth House in Philadelphia seeks an Annual Giving & Special Events Officer to lead fundraising initiatives, donor relations, and event planning.

You will manage golf tournaments, special events, donor campaigns, and partnerships with schools and businesses, while ensuring accurate donor records and a robust fundraising pipeline.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of fundraising experience, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of professional fundraising experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; work independently or in a team.
• Occasional evening and weekend hours; in-person work.

Responsibilities

• Execute annual Golf Tournament and Setting the Stage events to meet fundraising goals.
• Research, cultivate and solicit new and existing donors for special events; secure sponsorships and donations.
• Manage logistics for special events (raffles, silent auctions, catering, signage, programs, ticketing).
• Ensure annual fundraising campaigns achieve $125,000+ net annually (Funding Futures, Holiday Gift Drive); work with Marketing to boost monthly/annual giving.
• Plan and manage Third Party Fundraisers, gift-in-kind donations, Amazon Wish Lists, and volunteer activities ($300,000+ net annually); build relationships with businesses, orgs, colleges/universities, and K-12 schools to foster support.
• Coordinate regional events for Champions for Youth ($1,000+ donors) and Innovators Society ($5,000+ donors); support DonorPerfect database growth and data integrity.
• Support DonorPerfect database growth and ensure accuracy of pledges and gifts; ensure sponsorship receipts before close of campaigns.
