Job summary

Mn Adult & Teen Challenge in Minneapolis seeks a Strategic Partner Events Manager to lead donor-focused events and engagement initiatives, strengthening relationships with major donors and supporting fundraising goals. You will manage event strategy, logistics, budgets, contracts, and donor stewardship, collaborating with Strategic Partnerships, Marketing, Donor Services, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience coordinating events, donor engagement activities, fundraising events, or related programs, including managing multiple projects, timelines, budgets, vendors, contracts, and priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate professionally with donors, vendors, staff, and community partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Raiser's Edge or similar donor management system is helpful.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Leads donor-focused events and engagement initiatives to support fundraising objectives and strengthen donor relationships.
• Coordinates event plans, timelines, logistics, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manages budgets, contracts, vendor agreements, and service arrangements for events.
• Maintains CRM records, tracks gifts, attendees, and sponsors; analyzes outcomes for stewardship.
• Supports cross-functional teams in donor services, marketing, and operations to maximize impact.
