Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Project Manager / Deputy Program Manager to support a DoD telecommunications transition program at Scott AFB, IL. You will coordinate personnel, schedules, risk, and customer requirements, assisting the Program Manager while ensuring contract performance.

U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain CAC/NIPRNet access are required. The role involves working with government personnel, telecom providers, and technical stakeholders to deliver results.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain CAC/NIPRNet access and satisfy government suitability.
• Experience managing DoD/Federal IT, telecommunications, or technical services programs.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and multiple activities.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational activities and project personnel.
• Coordinate inventory, ordering, engineering, customer support and transition activities.
• Track schedules, actions, risks, issues and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Government personnel, customers, providers and technical stakeholders.
• Monitor workload and allocate personnel to transition priorities.
• Support quality assurance and review of deliverables.
• Prepare and support program reviews, status reports, and presentations.
• Perform Program Manager responsibilities when delegated.
