Job summary

Gauss Management Research & Engineering (GMRE Inc.) in Utah seeks a Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and qualify new opportunities across DoD, IC, and international defense markets. You will build relationships, shape acquisitions, and position GMRE for successful captures.

You will collaborate with Capture, Proposal, Operations, and leadership to mature opportunities, maintain a healthy pipeline, and ensure continuous growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Government Relations, Public Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant BD experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years of DoD or federal BD experience.
• Experience with GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, CRM systems, and market intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes.
• Experience with federal contract vehicles (IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, OTAs).
• Shipley BD or Capture training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify DoD/federal opportunities from engagement through qualification.
• Develop opportunities briefs and recommend Bid/No-Bid decisions.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline across assigned accounts and monitor procurement trends.
• Collaborate with Capture, Proposal, Operations, and leadership to mature opportunities.
