• Plans, directs, and coordinates the budget program of the Department of War (DoW).
• Establishes plans and policies for the conduct of these programs and recommends overall policies to senior DoW leadership.
• Directs strategic formulation and defense of DoW resource portfolios and policy initiatives for use by senior DoW leadership.
• Provides executive leadership for planning, direction, and modernization of the DoW programming and resource allocation frameworks.
• Directs the architecture, integration, and modernization of enterprise-wide budgeting systems to optimize real-time decision-making and agile deployment of DoW resources.
