Strong knowledge of DoD budgeting processes and the ability to communicate complex analyses is essential. The ideal candidate will have federal budgeting experience, be able to prepare detailed analyses, and contribute to the execution and optimization

Qualifications

• Experience in budget formulation and execution for federal programs.
• Knowledge of DoD budget processes, OMB, and congressional budgeting.
• Strong analytical and cost-analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Familiarity with DoD special access program funding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed analyses of annual and multi-year budget estimates for the DCS Studies Group.
• Monitors obligations incurred and actual expenditures for budget execution and administration.
• Provides advice and guidance to the Director on budgeting and related information.
• Conducts analyses, reviews, and special studies of budget and related information.
