Job summary

McBride Consulting seeks a Program Manager SME (Principal) to support AFLCMC/HB in the HBU Force Protection Division at Hanscom AFB. You will guide DoD programs through the acquisition lifecycle, ensure compliance with DoD directives, and lead risk management and reporting.

This role collaborates with government and contractor teams to deliver critical warfighter capabilities. Responsibilities include plan/assess projects, support cost/schedule reductions, develop RFP inputs, and produce

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with significant DoD experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate is preferred for advanced roles and years of DoD experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and assess programs to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Support cost/schedule reduction activities for acquisition efforts.
• Provide acquisition support to Program Managers and IPT Leads.
• Assist in development of RFP inputs, including SOWs and acquisition reports.
• Review DoD documents for compliance with DoDI 5000.02 and related directives.
• Prepare and update acquisition reports (MARs, SARs, DAES, APBs, risk plans).
• Support implementation of acquisition processes with government and primes.
• Advise on acquisition policy and process improvements.
• Prepare briefings, graphics, and milestone documentation.
