Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Division CFO to lead the financial operations for Physician Services, ensuring budgets and metrics are met while driving accountability and strategic growth across the division.

The role requires extensive healthcare financial leadership and a proven ability to align managed care strategies with financial goals, optimize revenue cycles, and partner closely with senior leadership to support Lifepoint Health’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience in healthcare.
• Experience as CFO in Healthcare; CFO in Physician Practice Management highly preferred.
• Proven track record of managing budgets and achieving financial metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
• High level experience with financial software and systems.
• CPA Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to the division.
• Oversee budgeting, month-end close, and forecasting processes with detailed reporting.
• Lead revenue cycle operations and payer contracting.
• Develop and monitor financial metrics and KPIs.
• Communicate financial performance to the President and executive leadership.
• Drive cost management and operational efficiency to improve profitability.
