Job summary

City of St. Peters seeks an experienced municipal leader to direct the Transportation and Facilities Services Group, guiding infrastructure planning, maintenance programs, and capital improvement efforts to serve the community safely and efficiently.

The Manager collaborates with city leadership, staff, contractors, and partners to develop long-range plans, manage budgets, oversee assets, and ensure compliance with laws and city safety standards, while advancing proactive asset management and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of budgeting and financial administration.
• Knowledge of construction, maintenance, and infrastructure management standards and practices.
• Knowledge of contract preparation, procurement, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, asset management, and infrastructure preservation principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership for the Transportation and Facilities Services Group.
• Lead staff development, hiring recommendations, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage operating budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure contracts comply with City policies and law.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and improvement of streets, facilities, and related infrastructure.
• Direct capital improvement project planning, budgeting, design, bidding, construction, and warranty activities.
