Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Facilities Management, or Business Administration.
• Five years municipal, engineering, public works, facilities, or infrastructure management experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial administration.
• Knowledge of contract preparation, procurement, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership and oversight for the Transportation and Facilities Services Group.
• Lead staff development, including hiring recommendations, training, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and manage operating budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure contracts comply with city policies.
• Establish maintenance programs, staffing plans, and operational priorities.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of streets, facilities, and related infrastructure.
• Direct planning and implementation of capital improvement projects, including budgeting, design, bidding, construction, and warranty.
• Negotiate and administer contracts and oversee procurement of goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards.
