Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree complemented by extensive industry and leadership experience; industry credentials or trades licensure preferred.
• Five years or more of progressively responsible experience in higher education, K-12 career and technical education with higher education partnerships, vocational or technical education, or industrial sector management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth and development of Baker College's skilled trades programs, including identifying workforce-driven opportunities and guiding initiatives from concept through launch.
• Cultivate partnerships with employers, high schools, CTE centers, and workforce organizations to expand dual enrollment, articulation, apprenticeship, and career pathways.
• Oversee personnel and daily operations; ensure facilities, labs, tools, and equipment meet industry standards; support faculty recruitment and development; manage budgets and timelines for continuous improvement.
