Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. in Golden, CO, is seeking a Director of Semiconductor Planning to lead the mid‑term SIOP process and near‑term planning across U.S. and Korea manufacturing sites.

You will drive capacity, inventory, and supplier planning while building a resilient planning organization and partnering with manufacturing, engineering, and finance to align product priorities with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, capacity planning, manufacturing planning, SiOP, or related supply chain leadership roles.
• Experience leading planning teams in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing managers or leading through multiple planning teams strongly preferred.
• Strong manufacturing background in ceramics, advanced materials, process manufacturing, automotive, industrial, electronics, or other complex environments.
• Experience leading supply-side SiOP/S&OP processes for a business unit, region, or complex product-line portfolio.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP and SAP IBP or equivalent advanced planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Semiconductor planning organization across U.S. and Korea sites, driving near-term and mid-term SiOP initiatives.
• Foster accountability, data-driven decisions, continuous improvement, automation, and strong partnerships with manufacturing and business stakeholders.
• Ensure effective execution at each plant via plant planning managers and planning teams responsible for production planning, master scheduling, short-horizon capacity management, and customer delivery execution.
• Establish common planning standards, routines, metrics, escalation processes, and performance expectations across the U.S. and Korea teams.
• Translate demand forecasts, customer requirements, product priorities, and inputs into supply plans, capacity requirements, and inventory implications.
• Develop planning reports, dashboards, and metrics to improve visibility to demand/supply alignment, capacity constraints, and inventory risk.
