Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience in public company environment and/or Big 4.
• Experience with SEC reporting process and Form 10-K/10-Q.
• Proficiency with SEC reporting tools like DFIN ActiveDisclosure or Workiva.
• Deep US GAAP and SEC knowledge.
• SOX compliance understanding.
• Ability to build processes from scratch in a newly public company.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• IPO experience preferred.
• Experience with external audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end preparation and filing of SEC documents (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxies).
• Ensure Regulation S-X and S-K disclosure compliance.
• Design and maintain SEC calendar, processes, and DCPs.
• Lead research and documentation of US GAAP and SEC matters.
• Author technical accounting memos and implement new standards.
• Administer SEC reporting software (DFIN ActiveDisclosure).
• Collaborate with CFO, Legal, FP&A, IR for cohesive reporting.
• Provide guidance to accounting staff.
• Manage external audit firm relationships re SEC.
• Assist with financial reporting impact of M&A, debt offerings, strategic initiatives.
