Job summary

The Wright Center in Scranton, PA is seeking a Pharmacy & Vaccine Program Financial Operations Director to lead financial operations, reimbursement reconciliation, reporting, and vaccine program administration for the pharmacy and VaxCare programs. The role collaborates across Pharmacy Operations, Finance, Revenue Cycle, and vendors to ensure accurate reimbursement and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare billing, pharmacy finance, revenue cycle, accounting support, reimbursement analysis, or related financial operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience reconciling financial transactions.
• Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience with financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile billing transactions for in-house, specialty, and contract pharmacy services.
• Coordinate with PioneerRX and ProviderPay to resolve reimbursement discrepancies.
• Monitor AR aging and investigate outstanding reimbursement balances.
• Generate financial, reimbursement, and operational reports from PioneerRx and related systems.
• Assist with month-end close processes and vaccine billing workflows.
• Collaborate across departments to improve workflows, controls, and SOPs.
