Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan seeks an experienced nursing leader to oversee contracts, drive strategic planning, and develop policies to improve nursing care quality. You will collaborate with nursing managers, HR, and physicians, manage budgets and staffing levels, and chair or participate in medical staff committees.

Requires a Master's in Nursing or related field, Michigan RN licensure, and at least five years of acute care and progressive management experience.

Qualifications

• Masters’ Degree in Nursing, Business Administration or related field within two years of hire date.
• Must be licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
• Minimum of five years acute care nursing experience required.
• Progressive management experience required, with proven interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, controls and evaluates patient care nursing operations in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Develops and recommends short- and long-term strategic plans and methods for achieving goals.
• Assists in establishing standards of performance, quality assurance and control, and patient care delivery.
• Promotes integration of services with other hospital divisions.
• Creates and maintains correspondence, records, reports, and other documentation related to the work.
